melting point of magnesium

Magnesium has a melting point of 651°C and a boiling point of 1107°C. The vapor pressure of magnesium is very high, 215215.95Pa at 627°C and 1037.1Pa at 727°C, so magnesium beryllium is extremely volatile. The two outermost electrons of the magnesium atom are easy to lose, and it is a very active metal. Magnesium can react with F, CL, BR, I and other elements to form corresponding compounds at room temperature.
